Korean sweet potato latte paired with The Vegetarian by Han Kanh

I find nothing more indulgent than to read a good book with a warm drink. I’ve discovered the sweet potato latte during my visit to Seoul, South Korea, this past summer, and fell in love with the drink (and the city :)

Recipe: Blend together 200g baked purple sweet potato (flesh only, no skin) + 2 cups milk + 1tbsp sugar + 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon. Heat in saucepan over stove, while stirring, until hot.

Optional: serve with frothed milk or whipped cream, and top with ground cinnamon and nuts.
